• Joint Replacement at St. Mary-Corwin

  • St. Mary-Corwin Joint Replacement Center The St. Mary-Corwin Joint Replacement Center is designed to help our patients live a life free of joint pain. Our program is designed to return you to an active lifestyle as quickly as possible. Most patients will be able to walk the first day after joint replacement surgery, and move toward normal activity in six to twelve weeks.

We are proud to have the special distinction of being awarded both the Women’s Choice Award as an America’s Best Hospital for Orthopedics, and the Blue Distinction Award from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.

As a Women’s Choice Award recipient, St. Mary-Corwin’s Joint Replacement Center is acknowledged as a hospital that is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and treatment. This award is based on robust criteria that include patient satisfaction measurements and consideration of areas of clinical excellence. The selection process identifies hospitals that provide comprehensive orthopedic services and meet criteria for patient satisfaction and surgical excellence, based on female needs and preferences.

The Blue Distinction Award recognizes hospitals for their expertise in delivering specialty care. St. Mary-Corwin has been recognized as a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement. This award demonstrates that St. Mary-Corwin is a healthcare facility with demonstrated expertise and a commitment to quality care, resulting in better overall outcomes for patients of comprehensive inpatient knee and hip replacement services, including total knee replacement and total hip replacement. Blue Distinction Centers in the areas of Spine Surgery and Knee and Hip Replacement demonstrate better overall quality for certain procedures, including lower readmission rates and fewer complications, than non-designated facilities.

Data from our unique program exceeds state and national standards. Patients can count on our well-managed specialty care team.
