EMS/EMT TrainingEMS & EMT TrainingTo ensure a full spectrum of care in Pueblo and the surrounding communities of southern Colorado, St. Mary-Corwin’s emergency services provides a series of training for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) personnel – many of whom serve as volunteers in their communities. We offer site-specific training as requested, host monthly continuing medical education programs, and initial certification or refresher EMT-Basic classes. EMT Basic Course: September 7 - December 18The EMT Institute at St.Mary-Corwin will offer a fall EMT-Basic course from September 7 through December 18, 2010. Class will meet Monday and Tuesday evenings at St. Mary-Corwin from 5 pm to 9 pm. This is a hybrid course with online learning enhancements. Students will use an online program for chapter work, assignments and quizzes. Students must have access to a MS Windows compatible computer. This course has no weekend classes. Course fee is $500 and includes text books, a uniform shirt and ID card.
