In November 2004, St. Mary-Corwin Flight For Life began serving the rural communities throughout southern Colorado, making the transfer of critically ill and injured patients much more time efficient. St. Mary-Corwin Flight For Life combines the rapid transportation, medical expertise and modern technology needed to make every minute count in an emergency. |
Every patient transported by Flight For Life is cared for by specially trained flight nurses who’s experience includes pre-hospital, emergency and intensive care, as well as extensive training in caring for critically ill patients in the airborne environment.
